"By presenting found objects in uncanny ways, I transform them to reveal new perceptions."
I approach making art like creating a riddle. In much of my studio practice I use glass in curious ways to capture a moment and freeze in time. Glass has a phenomenal quality of being liquid, and malleable, yet stiff and solid. With my sculptures and installations I often animate found objects with this amorphous solid. My works strive to capture a fleeting instant, forming an emotional connection, leaving a permanent memory.
